Faith in Action. Hope in Motion.

Rebuilding Haiti — One Life, One Family, One Future at a Time.

Who We Are

On January 12, 2010, the earth shook beneath Léogâne, Haiti — and the Espérance family answered. What began as one family’s response to devastation became Heirs of Salvation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the sustainable rebuilding of one of Haiti’s most affected communities.

Fifteen years later, we are still there. Still building. Still believing.

The People of Léogâne Speak for Themselves

Real voices from the community we serve — speaking in Haitian Creole with English subtitles — sharing what they need most: clean water, electricity, roads, and hope. Our founder Mireille Valmé Espérance asks the global community to listen and respond.

"They are searching for life. They are in need of their future. And with your help, their future is filled with promise. With your help, they will see their future. With your help, they will achieve their visions."

— Mireille Valmé Espérance, Founder

What We Do

01.

— Education & Literacy

We believe every person deserves the dignity of education. Our adult literacy program gives men and women the ability to read, write, and sign their own name — for the first time in their lives.

02.

— Hope Village Center

The JOEDES Development Center in Fond Jacques, Léogâne is rising as a permanent home for classrooms, vocational training, a computer lab, and a health clinic. Your gift builds it.

03.

— Youth Sports & Development

Every child deserves a field to run on and a coach who believes in them. Our sports programs channel the energy of Haiti’s youth into excellence, discipline, and hope.

Impact Stories

The Signature That Changed Everything

When Heirs of Salvation built a home for a family of eight in Léogâne, they asked to be married. Our founder Mrs. Espérance stood beside them as Maid of Honor. But when the marriage certificate was placed before them — they could only sign with an “X.” Neither could read nor write. That moment became the foundation of our adult literacy program.
